"Food for Thought": WHEN PURSUED and KIND WORDS

23" X 21"

37" X 31"
Two pieces, When Pursued and Kind Words, have been selected for exhibition in SomeThings Looming's show, "Food for Thought".

The show opens on Friday, September 13, with reception from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., and continues through October 26.   The Somethings Looming gallery is located at 526 Washington Street, Reading, Pennsylvania.

In announcing the show, Some Things Looming described the theme:  "The phrase 'food for thought' describes something that is stimulating and interesting to think about, perhaps even profound.  The essential idea behind the phrase 'food for thought' is figurative. It's the idea that some problems or concepts might feed our minds much as food nourishes the body."

Some Things Looming challenged  artists to express: conceptually, figuratively, or literally the phrase "food for thought" in a visual format, 2D or 3D.  Fiber or fiber techniques had to be incorporated into the piece.

London Bridge is falling down… falling down… my fair lady!

This piece, measuring 12 inches x 12 inches, appeared in the Somethings Looming Exhibition, Black, White, and Red.
